Going live
Once the operation test is complete, add the trial button to your live theme. You are live as soon as the trial button appears on the live theme.
The settings on the Recustomer side (trial policy, eligible products, notification emails, and so on) do not depend on the theme, so the settings you used for testing apply to production as well. The only work needed to go live is on the Shopify theme side.

4-1. Add the trial button to your live theme
If you tested on a duplicated theme or in a preview, add the trial button to your live theme as well, following the same steps as 2-9. Add the Try Before You Buy button.
If you also followed Editing the text on the checkout page, apply the same wording to the live theme too ("Edit default theme content" is a per-theme setting).
4-2. Checks after going live
Once it is applied to the live theme, check the following on your online store's product pages.
- The trial button appears on the product pages of products eligible for a trial
- The trial button does not appear on the product pages of products that are not eligible
- Adding an item to the cart from the trial button makes the amount due ¥0 on the checkout page (the same screen as step 3 of 3. Operation test)
4-3. Guidance for shoppers
Try Before You Buy is a new way to shop, so explaining how it works inside your store reduces the number of enquiries. Consider it if it fits your store.
