Editing the text on the checkout page
When you use Try Before You Buy, the checkout page shows Shopify's default wording for deferred and subscription purchases. For the best purchase experience, we recommend rewriting it for Try Before You Buy.
How to edit it
- Sign in to your Shopify admin
- Under Sales channels, open Online Store > Themes > Edit default theme content (for the theme that uses the trial button)
- Open the Checkout & system category, find the relevant text section, and replace it with the recommended wording below, then save
Editable text fields and recommended wording
※The wording below is for a Japanese-language storefront. An English translation is given in brackets — adapt it to the language your storefront uses.

- Wording such as the trial period (X days) should match the trial policy you configured in Recustomer
