What is Tracking?

Recustomer Tracking is a feature that automatically collects shipping statuses from each carrier's tracking page, sends shipping notification emails to shoppers, and displays the status on a tracking page built for your brand.

This page introduces the main features of Recustomer Tracking.

1. Shipping notification emails

Shipping statuses are collected automatically from the carriers, and emails matching the delivery situation—out for delivery, returned to the carrier after a missed delivery, delivery trouble, and so on—are sent to shoppers automatically.

This reduces delivery-related inquiries such as "my order hasn't arrived" or "when will it arrive". Notifying shoppers early when a package is taken back to the carrier also prompts them to arrange redelivery, preventing returns caused by expired storage periods.

The content and design of the emails can be customized to match your brand.

2. A tracking page built for your brand

You can set your brand logo and key visuals to build a tracking page that matches your brand.

The tracking page is shown as the link destination of the shipping notification emails sent between purchase and delivery, so it works as a new customer touchpoint. For example, you can display recommended products or place links to LINE or app registration, which helps generate additional sales and repeat customers.

3. Estimated delivery dates

This feature dynamically displays the estimated delivery date calculated by Recustomer on product detail pages in your storefront. The estimate is based on historical data for each carrier and delivery area.

4. Deadlines based on the arrival date

With Tracking enabled, Recustomer can obtain the arrival date (delivery completion date) of each item, so deadlines for return and exchange requests or try-before-you-buy trial periods can be configured as "within N days of arrival".

With deadlines based on the shipping date, the days spent in transit eat into the time shoppers actually have with the product. Basing deadlines on the arrival date gives every shopper the same consideration period regardless of region or delivery conditions, and prevents complaints and inquiries like "the deadline was almost over by the time it arrived".
