This setting reflects returns processed in Recustomer on the Shopify order.

## 1. Configuring it

1. Open [Settings > External service integrations > Integrations > Shopify](https://rcmr.io/settings/integrations/integration/externals/shopify) and go to the Integration settings tab

2. Turn on **Synchronize send back status with Shopify** and save

| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Synchronize send back status with Shopify | When the return status becomes "Received", the Shopify order status is updated to "Return completed" and the stock is restocked through the Shopify API (Return Order) |

※Orders that do not come from Shopify (CSV imports and so on) are not synchronised
※If the refund method is set to "Shopify", the refund is also issued through Shopify

## 2. What changes when you turn it on

With synchronisation on, the refund calculation and the timing of the return creation switch to Shopify's.

| What changes | Details |
|---|---|
| The estimated refund amount | After the approval is confirmed, the estimated refund amount is the refund amount (subtotal and tax) calculated by Shopify, used as it is instead of Recustomer's calculation. The approval result page for the shopper, the refund card in the request detail, and the refund processing screen show Shopify's value, and the [refund calculation](../return/return-policy.html#6-refund-calculation) settings in the return policy (including conditional settings) are not used |
| Refunding the shipping | A "Refund shipping" checkbox is added to the refund processing screen, so you can decide per request whether to refund the shipping |
| Creating the Shopify Return | It is created **when the approval is confirmed** |
| Restocking | A "Restock inventory in the integration target" checkbox is added to the receiving screen, so you can decide per item whether to restock. It is checked by default ![The receiving screen. When the acceptance status is set to Accepted, the \](images/02c_return-sync-restock-checkbox.png) |

> **注意: This is being applied store by store**
>
> The changes in the table above (except restocking) are being applied store by store. For stores where they are not applied yet, the estimated refund amount is calculated with the refund calculation settings in the return policy as before, and the Shopify Return is created when the return is received. Requests submitted before the changes are applied keep being handled as before, even afterwards.
