# Adding links for shoppers

> STEP 4

Once the operation test is complete, add links across your store so that shoppers can reach the return request page. Once the links are in place, you are live.

Where and how you can add them depends on your platform. See the section that applies to you.

## 4-1. Checking the URL of the return request page

First, check the URL of the return request page you will give to shoppers. (All platforms)

You can find it at Settings > Shopper portal > Domain > Return and cancellation request page URL.

![The Settings > Shopper portal > Domain screen. The URL for your store is shown under Return and cancellation request page URL.](images/05_cancel-page-url.png)

### Opening the page with the order details filled in

If you add parameters to the URL of the return request page, the page opens with the order number and other details already filled in. This is useful wherever you can embed order details, such as the order confirmation email.

| Parameter | What it fills in |
| --- | --- |
| `order_number` | The order number |
| `postal_code` | The postal code |
| `mail_address` | The email address |
| `customer_name` | The shopper's name |

Example URLs

```
https://(return and cancellation request page URL)?order_number=xxxxx&postal_code=xxxxx
https://(return and cancellation request page URL)?order_number=xxxxx&mail_address=xxxxx
```

## 4-2. Examples of where to add links

### Shopify

| Where | What to add |
| --- | --- |
| Order confirmation email | Add a note about returns and exchanges and the URL of the request page to the footer. For example: ■About returns and exchanges If you would like to return or exchange your order, please get in touch from the return request page. ※We cannot accept returns or exchanges once the order is being prepared for shipping or has shipped. |
| FAQ and shopping guide | Add questions about returns and exchanges (the conditions and deadline, return methods, when refunds are issued and so on) and a link to the request page to your existing FAQ or shopping guide |
| Footer | Add an item such as "Returns and exchanges" to the footer menu and link it to the request page |
| Account page and order history | Add a link to the request page on the account page or the order history page |
| Legal notice and terms of use | State the conditions for returns and exchanges (the deadline, return methods, refund methods and so on) and link to the request page |

### Rakuten

Rakuten Ichiba is a marketplace, so an external link application is required before you can add external links. If you have not applied yet, do the [Rakuten external link application](../setup/rakuten-link.html) first.

| Where | What to add |
| --- | --- |
| Order confirmation email | State the conditions for returns and exchanges and the URL of the request page (see the Shopify table for an example) |
| Contact and company information pages | Add a note about returns and exchanges and a link to the request page to your company information or shop information pages |

### Yahoo

| Where | What to add |
| --- | --- |
| Order confirmation email | State the conditions for returns and exchanges and the URL of the request page (see the Shopify table for an example) |
| FAQ and shopping guide | Add questions about returns and exchanges and a link to the request page to your FAQ or shopping guide |
| Terms of sale, returns and exchanges | State the conditions for returns and exchanges and link to the request page under "Terms of sale, returns and exchanges" in your store information |

That is everything. You are now live.
